Aiming to preserve 1000-year-old ruins in the new city of Milton Keynes

I am old – enough to have seen the church before the collapse, though as a very young child. It was always a special place for me. The last time I was in England (I live in the USA) I was very upset to see that the beautiful horse chestnut tree had been killed by “circling” it and the remains of the church was littered with garbage. The cattle had disappeared from the field and new housing was encroaching. I was very sad to see how things had turned out.
I love the photos you have posted. I am not familiar with most of them. I was born in New Bradwell, by the way, and still have family members in the area.
